I opened for The Common Linnets at the Midzomerzaan Festival.
Saturday June 20th I played at the Midzomerzaan festival. The festival was headlined by The Common Linnets, the Ilse de Lange-fronted band of Eurovision fame. My buddies in the band Ten Hut opened the post matinee part of the festival and got everybody dancing and jumping. Check them out, they just released a new EP.
Tijmen joined me for the last half of the set on piano, bass, EWI and tin whistle. We even played an impromptu acoustic version of Aliens Ate My Amplifiers. Good times, good vibes and good people.
PS The Common Linnet’s Jake Etheridge is a pretty mean dobro player.
