Fairy Tales & Furry Tails

I feel like Gepetto when his work was brought to life
I’d give my apple to Venus, steal the king of Sparta’s wife
Some things you cut with an axe
And some you cut with a knife

I feel like I’ve got rockets, ready to deliver
And an ace comes along at the turn or the river
Some hands you call, all in
And some you fold with a shiver

I don’t believe in fairy tales
In magic creatures with furry tails
I don’t believe in destiny
But I do believe in you

The road goes on forever but I’m running out of gas
I’m searching for clues with a magnifying glass
Some sit big and comfy; Front of the plane
And some travel tourist class

I don’t believe in fairy tales
In magic creatures with furry tails
I don’t believe in destiny
But I do believe in you

I don’t believe in fairy tales
In magic creatures with furry tails
I don’t believe in destiny
But I do believe in you
Do believe in you
Do believe in you
